Sarah Cheatham, student of Kaylé Brecher, has been nominated for two prestigious awards for her recent performances as Roxy in the EHS production of 'Chicago'. She was nominated first for a Greater Philadelphia Area Cappies Award and then for a Paper Mill Playhouse Rising Star Award: both nominations are for Outstanding Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role. Sarah will be performing at both awards ceremonies. Well done!

Melanie Mijares, student of Kaylé Brecher, did an incredible job performing with the wonderful CMA jazz quartet at the May 8, 2010 Jazz Bridge Concert. We wish her all the best as she heads off to the University of Delaware next fall.
Emily Gaffney, student of Kaylé Brecher, made it through the audition process and was accepted into the Kimmel Center's Choir program this summer.
Congratulations are due once more to Melanie Mijares, student of Kaylé Brecher, who has just won Cherry Hill East High School's National Choir Award. She is kicking off her college and professional music career with wings on her heels.

Bravo to our Jazz Bridge performers!
Special Bravos! to all those who participated in our phenomenal JazzBridge Concert Celebration!  It was an evening of fabulous music, and great comraderie among the performing young artists from "CMA Jazz All-Stars" from The Conservatory of Musical Arts, the  "Subito Sounds" from the Camden Creative Arts High School, and, "Swing Thing" from the New Jersey School of Music.
